Flying to Shanghai

We're in Shanghai. We arrived last night at about 6:00 p.m. China time. Now it's 8 a.m. and all of us have been awake since about 3 a.m. when Bei woke up. Unlike us, she slept on the long flight and on the bus from the airport to Shanghai University where we are staying. She's very energetic. Ellen and I are somewhat less perky. Here we are in Denver Friday morning getting ready to head to the airport.

Here we are at the San Francisco airport -- waiting for our Shanghai flight. We left SF at about 2:30 p.m. and arrived in Shanghai 12 hours later.












Here's Bei on the flight to Shanghai. She got some sleep. Ellen and I didn't.




















Here's Bei in the common area at the dorm/hotel where we're staying at Shanghai University. Bei is none the worse for the flight. She got a lot of sleep.
